This is the blog of the Rev. Rock Higgins: I am the Episcopal Priest to the Center of the Universe. Really. This blog goes from my ordination to the present. Sins of omission and commission are fully my own, and I am leaning on the Grace-upon-Grace in my following of Christ. I serve as the Rector of St. James the Less Episcopal Church in Ashland, VA, also known as the Center of the Universe (CotU) to the locals.

Welcome d365 Readers
Thank you to all of you hitting my blog after reading this week's devotions on d365 app and website. I am kind of blown away. My prayer for you continues to be that God's will and ways be revealed to you. Have faith that the path you have started will draw you further from your comfort zone, but also further into relying on God's "grace-upon-grace." Thanks again for checking things out. Let me know if you have questions or ideas. Blessings, Rev. Rock

Rock, I enjoyed your Revealed - d365 Daily Devotional. Blessings... Margaret
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for the d365 devotionals. They have been truly inspirational and inspiring for me. I was raised in the fundamentalist Church of Christ in the bible belt, eventually settling on a decade and a half of agnostic atheism. It has only been recently that I have discovered God's real love through episcopal teachings, including your devotionals this week. Although I am a little nervous about it, this week end I plan to start attending church again.
ReplyDeleteWow. Blessings on your journey. I too was raised on fundamentalism, and my journey has taken me through so many different paths. Be patient with yourself. It is okay to be nervous. Remember it is all about Grace. Grace for all: for others and for yourself. If you have not read it, Brennan Manning's The Ragamuffin Gospel is great. While I found my home in the Episcopal Church, I know and trust you can find God wherever he leads you. Thanks for writing. God's peace be yours.
